An unrivalled location in the heart of fashionable Holetown, great food and an informal, club-like atmosphere - Mango Bay is a refreshing change for Barbados and excellent value for money.
Accommodation
Mango Bay re-opened its doors after a US$10 million refurbishment and expansion project in December 2005. The property now boasts an expanded fourth floor, including two oceanfront Penthouse Suites and 10 new Deluxe Rooms.
Location
Located in fashionable Holetown, it is perfectly placed for the local bars and chic restaurants as well as boasting a beachfront setting on the famous west coast. The recent makeover has added a touch of glamour to the hotel, evident from the moment you enter the smart, marble reception area, but the atmosphere is totally relaxed and a homely, sociable vibe pervades.
Activities
Relaxation and sunshine go hand in hand around the spacious, bright pool area which overlooks the Caribbean sea and a new decking area offers an alternative for sun worshippers. There's an abundance of watersports and other activities, including a complimentary catamaran sail to snorkel with turtles and a glass boat ride.
Dining Out
The beachfront restaurant 'Shades' serves really good food, either table d'hote or buffet style and most evenings there is light entertainment which adds to the elegant atmosphere after dark.
Low key and understated, Mango Bay is a truly welcome inclusion and a great all inclusive choice in Barbados.
