A small, private hotel in a peaceful location, Little Good Harbour is perfect for independent visitors, groups and families, with fabulous new villas and one of the best restaurants on the island, the Fish Pot.
Location
Little Good Harbour itself is tucked into an unspoilt fishing village on the northern tip of the West Coast, once the historic 17th century site of Fort Rupert. Elements of the original fort have been elegantly restored and thoughtfully developed into the charming hotel it is today.
Accommodation
The news at Little Good Harbour are the new Vineyard Villas which opened at the end of 2006 - six, stylish 3 bedroom villas, each named after a vineyard in the Margaret River region of Western Australia and a great self-catering option on the island of Barbados.
Activites
Because of its out-of-the-way location, Little Good Harbour is ideally suited to independent travellers and groups of friends or families and it's a good idea to hire a car and go exploring - visit Speightstown, try out nearby bars and restaurants and discover the rest of the island.
Back at base, the small, tranquil beach is an idyllic place to relax and watch the stately yachts and cruisers passing by. And the ocean view is magnificent - especially at sunset.
Dining Out
Discerning foodies are also in luck - the highly rated Fish Pot Restaurant is located here too, serving authentic Bajan cuisine and delicious fresh catches that will make your mouth water!
