Location
A quaint wooden bridge divides Galley Bay from the pressures of the world and once you cross it, you feel instantly at ease amongst the thatch, bamboo and Tahitian style architecture. It has a magical, almost earthy feel to it - designed to blend with mother nature in stunning tropical landscapes and cascading waterfalls.
Accommodation
The palm-thatched Gauguin Cottages have a rustic charm for those seeking a true castaway experience, but if sophistication is a must, book one of the new Premium Beachfront Suites with their cool, contemporary design and techno treats to make you feel at home, such as i-Modes with speakers, flat-screen plasma TVs and Wi-Fi.
Dining Out
For simple pleasures there's no better place than the Teepee Bar to chill at sunset - expansive decks perched just above the beach. And as beaches go, you're hard pushed to find a better one - a soft, white carpet of sand sloping into clear waters with excellent dive sites and fluorescent reefs beyond. At night, dine under thatched gazebos at the Gauguin Restaurant, or at the Sea Grape Restaurant for a la carte dining.
Activities
Other facilities include a tennis court, swimming pool and non-motorised watersports.
